I know, but remember they didn't finish tanks. It's an incomplete product they released and have admitted to. Hopefully they address this fact soon. As a tanker from back then, I know what you mean fella. I miss it too and hate this **** they call "Tanking" now a days.
Variety in tanks is gone, to be hopefully added back in the future.

Wow best fail post all day . 1.7 my tanks never when over 500.000 1.8 they dont go over 230.000 hows this a fail post? the fact i got positive feedback makes you look like a d***, also i kept my veyu alive 27 games in a row by being clever. Did you tank before 1.7? or are you one of these people believing there good in these toy tanks?

The biggest loss is tactical ramming. WTF? It was overheating my blaster, on a collision course with a hardend gunnlogi, with nitrous activated that sealed the deal for me. Rolling an armor tank thru my exploding foe gave me no small amount of wood. I began my quest on a cold day in 1.5ish. By 1.6 it was clear brawling would cause bankruptcy. I learned the old ways, mostly from pegasis and the bastards I fought in pubs.So many things were better back then. Ramming was viable. Now I can slamm another tank and do do some damage or none. Perhaps one of is flips or both. Sometimes we tank hump for a bit. Almost never does anyone explode.
No you can still ram tanks. Have slammed/been slammed into with maddies. Insta death for a shield tank. Gotta hit them just right, like on an upward climb with nitrous activated.

Yeah, add modules back in and unbalance everything, starting from ground 0. If the nerf was anything, it was to placate AV until they can push out new vehicle changes. At least I HOPE that's why they did it.
I've been saying this for a long time, and it's been catchin on. High resistances are not the problem, the problem is TIME. How long modules last compared to how quickly they cooldown.

I kinda agreed with tieracide there for a while. Now though I see that it isn't necessary as many have explained it to be. The gap between new players and veteran players WILL ALWAYS BE THERE. What nubs need is a place to play with other nubs to GET GUD.
What I do agree with is adding new passive bonuses to the existing skill tree. In this way, vet players who are already specialized in a suit, ACTUALLY HAVE A REASON TO SPEND SP AGAIN. Super specialize that suit!
