I have no idea if this is a bug, deliberate design, or just plain idiotic strafing speed , so, i'm calling it bullshit. !
An advanced scout with a toxin strafing between a railing and a wall against my MH-82 5 or 6 times got through more than 1500hp on my Adv Gal Sentinal.
Going toe to toe, his suits should have been ripped to shreds not had 25% of his health left.

was happening to me too. scout running head on into HMG fire and killing me instead. hit detection on scouts is just terrible. has actually put me off playing the game. |

I thought i was just really bad at aiming. I had a scout run right at me and kill me with my hmg. |

I've had them come straight at me hit them with every bullet and noting that why every all of a sudden are going 40-1 45-0 and stuff the hit detection is messed up all scouts and the strafe too fast |

I've had the same issue. High speed Scouts seeming to shrug off HMG rounds. I think it's the high speed and, possible, a little lag throwing off the already buggy hit detection. The shot hits home but the data registers the Scout as not being in that area anymore, so the damage isn't applied. Makes stopping a Shotgun Scout next to impossible sometimes.

Because this game supports every amount of latency players are often not where the game actually shows them. If you aim ahead of them, you will find that your shots will connect. Its stupid because they play this game only because CoD and Battlefield will kick them because of their lag

Bullets don't really use hit detection. If the reticule is red the chance you will hit is based off of the accuracy rating and if you have aim assist on the DS3 controller. The only weapons that actually still hit dead on with lag are the slow firing ones. Their rounds become objects in the game whenever they are fired. Mass Drivers, Forge Guns, and Plasma Cannons. These guns are only affected by lag at the moment of firing, and once the round is fired there is no lag that can stop it. This isn't real hit detection. It is 'lottery damage'. People are noticing it now more than ever.
