Ask any proto good tanker in the game . Tankers gett killed more by militia dmg mod rail tanks than anything else . a proto freeking tank should now have to wrorry about a sica with armor plate , armor hardener, with double dmg mods. remove miltia tanks completely.. You shouldnt be able to run around with a tank our not skilled into and get 30 kills or more. Remove militia tanks .. ccp you arent listening to your vet players who have put real money into this game. Armor tanks got crapped on because of their cpu reduction and hardeners resistance is trash....
REMOVE FREEKING MILITIA TANKS AND REDUCE DMGE MODS . IV BEEN PLAYING OVER A YEAR AND IV THOUGHT ABOUT DELETING THIS GAME MULTIPLE TIMES THIS WEEK DUE TO THIS BULL CRAP.

If these "good" tankers of yours are getting their stronger tanks murdered by weaker mlt tier tanks, they aren't good tankers.
Stop relying on your gear to carry you. You don't hear any proto stomping infantry moaning about how they got killed mlt gear do you?

Glass cannon are too strong at the moment. With the nerf that happened to hardeners, damage mods should be lowered as well. I do not agree with removing militia tanks or any militia modules though. People need to learn how tanks work before deciding to drop the SP into testing them.

In my opinion, here's what's needed to be done:
- Change active damage amps to low slot passive damage amps with no more than 10% damage increase
Either
- Revert large railguns to either the compressed or regular variant from 1.6
or
- Give large railguns a range profile like the laser rifle. Their damage should drop off steeply when put into CQC, and they can have their range back if their damage drops off at extreme ranges as well. For lore, it can be said that the charged plasma in the canister requires a fraction of a second after launch to reach its highest energy state, after which it rapidly decays, thus giving it an optimal range between, say 200m and 350m.
- Decrease large blaster damage
Changing the turrets like that will restore balance to vehicles. Blasters are best against infantry, so they should also be worst (relatively) at AV. That said, a missile tank should beat any tank at CQC. A blaster tank should beat a rail tank in CQC. A rail tank should beat any tank at range.

You are a bad tanker, and a bad player in general.
If you are complaining about not being able to win because everyone's gear is equal, you are a bad tanker who can only perform well against other tanks (and vehicles by proxy) by using superior gear.

i dont give a crap about u losing your shiny tank with black modules. because thats a good thing...
mlt should be able to take down proto through head on fight means. it will most likely add better diversity and make the game healthier for the end. in other terms. stop bitching about a new berry who just happened to kill your scrubby little ass while u were driving a tank with a 30% advantage over their tanks.i feel the same needs to be done on the infantry levels as well. makes the new player experience better. so htfu. and stop bitching about losing your god mode. im sick of the selfish stupidity that keeps going on..

All I am hearing from tankers is that MLT should be ineffective against your proto tanks, and that is BS, that is not how it works for Dropsuits thats not how its going to work for tanks. A mlt dropsuit can kill a proto dropsuit easily in skilled hands same does and should go for tanks.
If anything I have to say your a weak snobby player who is trying to have his SP and isk put him out of the league of more skilled lower SP players. That is not how this game works. It sounds like your letting him get the drop on you do to your lack of situational awareness, your fit is weak against his build strategy and your own hubris about your tank and your skill level leads to you getting killed.
Scrub high SP tanker who thinks he should never die or only die to proto tanks, nothing to see here.

If i can be killed with a militia shotgun then you deserve to be killed by a militia railgun aswell. And once something has gone down to militia lvl then it will stay for good.

I had a passively-tanked gunnlogi with all standard mods going up against the proto aurum-mobile. It still survived to the end of the match, because I had situational awareness.

Its not that; everything is almost balanced. The railguns are broken and stick out like a sore thumb.
In Tank v Tank - You outplay me with a blaster/missile? Time to bring out the railguns!
In Tank v Infantry - You kill me with a tank once or twice? Time to bring out the railguns!
It's a vicious cycle that only brings chaos and empty wallets in the end. |
