He seemed to be playing dust 514 most of the time and streaming it, he seemed to be dedicated to the idea of dust 514. And now he's reached his limit. I'm surprised he's not willing to wait till fanfest to determine if the game is worth playing anymore. I'm on a break here till Dust becomes worth playing, not deleting my character. My ps3 is just gonna be sitting unplugged, fanfest might just bring me back but idk really.

He said he'll come back if the game comes to the ps4 if it ever does, and we can assume that all the character stats will be reset anyways if they get it onto the ps4.

I would agree if we were talking about the Battlefield series, but Dust 514 will have the same characters and skillsheets when it is ported to new platforms. That's basically the only MMO element we're sure about.

The problem with waiting for fanfest is that CCPs marketing department is worlds ahead of game design. CCP knows how to sell a game through their presentations and they can make awesome looking ads. But they fail when it comes to delivering on the game. I've said this many times, the only reason CCP has had the years they've had to make Eve a good game (apparently it is I won't touch it) is because they have had little to no competition for their genre. Dust has lots of competition, they aren't gauranteed 10 years to get it right.

This patch (1.8) brought back many Vets and and brought in many new players. Also I've been playing for 2 years(including beta) with some staggered breaks...(1 month here , 3 months there) and am still here along-side many others.

Obviously you are out of the loop, but many individuals are doubling down on this game... You are free to biomass if you feel CCP has not delivered.

Oh, and BTW: This game has not been in full release for a full year yet... math is hard.

I'd never be so emotional as to delete a $200 investment . I'll just let my SP accrue while playing better games. You can drink the fanfest koolaid all you want. But the fact is we waited about a year to get half of what they showed last year and we're all still waiting for a game that is anything like their last advertisement.

Making the game worse? I log on and play, running around in every type of dropsuit with every single weapon. Typically, never running in anything stronger than basic gear. I encourage and mentor newer players on a daily basis.

My corporation is a group of friends who came together 6 months ago who create community events / PC just for the fun of competitive gameplay.

We were the last of the corporations to lock our districts and did it with a community annoucement of forcing CCP's hand... And go figure after we led the parade with public exposure of the problem, CCP fixed it.

Now, our alliance is working with Eve players more than ever done before to help change the entire PC system, forcing CCP to take action.


You are part of the minority of people who would rather complain about the game and leave it to CCP to make it fun for you.

If you have been here for so long, then use some of the time you waist on the forums and create somthing that actually benefits the community. CCP has givin us enough tools to do great things with this game, so shut up and get out of the way of people working to make this game better.

LOL you think that locking down PC and getting rich off of it is making it better? You think that spending this coming Saturday raping the poor bastards that play this game and don't visit the forums is good for the game? Only if you think what is best for the game is enough people quit wasting their time with it. If you don't spend your time in AE squads proto stomping everyone else out there, good for you, seems like you're a nice guy. You are the minority within your alliance though.
