My senses are telling me to be on the look out. To prepare for war. I rather be prepared for nothing than not prepared for anything...
With DNS taking anything that isn't locked down with bolts and gorilla glue on MH, it's quite possible the playerbase not involved with the blue donut will come face to face with DNS's corporations. I believe their presence will start to populate the pubs. If there is no one to fight on PC, what else will they set their eyes on?
I come to this probability due to several factors:
AE is offering money for corporations to test their might against them in the Amarr FW. Some War Room posters has posted in the GD. And some of those WRPs don't even like venturing into GD. These elite corporations has money to burn. And the desire to fight will not be quelled merely because they control much of MH.
Of course you might say that it isn't a possibility or that I'm thinking in extreme, but it cannot be out ruled. I think its best that some of you loners might find a corporation just to prepare for the possible reality of seeing DNS corporations populating the pubs more so than ever.
CCP won't help you nor will they defend you. That isn't what New Eden is built on. Yea, folks have a problem with protostomping but that seems to be mutating into a possible DNStomping in the future. Gather your troops and train. Do not be surprised if you see this happen.
Their numbers will grow as it is normal for the human being to see a seemingly unstoppable force and will side with it to spare themselves embarrassment and utter defeat. So prepare yourselves.
Go hard or go home
It's blue donuts versus the rest. Push the bar from your chest and let's get some!!!!

Cogadh Draco wrote:What war? I'd say AE eliminated PCs pretty well, and now they're experimenting with factional battles... What motivation for competitive gameplay there was ended with AE(most of it anyway, as it seems). Sure AE is permitted to take over, hell go on ahead. But whats the point of total domination if others wont oppose you? That's like sitting on a throne with no subjects to rule over, they just hate you and keep away.
What war? The war that is possibly on our doorsteps.
The point of total domination? To be immortalized. For your own satisfaction. For the idea of knowing that people fear you once they see your name. I can name numerous reasons why I would do it.
The AE thread shows you that they are branching out. Since people aren't coming to them for a fight, they come to their shores. There's probably countless stories in history of people who shunned war believing an oppossing force would never come to their shores and asking the same question as you. But do we need the reasons to justify why we should prepare? Or reasons why they are doing it. You don't need a reason, you just need to defend yourself. To be ready, just in case we need to be?

It just seems all too possible. Maybe I'm wrong. But I'm the type to never say "oh they wouldn't do that". I expect the unexpected.
The perfect time to pillage a village is when they stand by and do nothing.
