They where removed for tweaking along with logi dropships. They where not fulfilling their role as a logistic vehicle but rather a tanked murder taxi.
Also being in a corp that tries to get religion into the game world is kinda stupid.

LLAVs were not being used as intended and out of balance with the other vehicles. The rep was difficult to use and the LLAV was extremely difficult to kill and used as a mini HAV instead of a vehicle to support teammates.
When they removed the higher tier vehicles to try to rebalance and they dropped the LLAV from the market and the ones that remain are BPOs that were handed out to tournament winners. I would love to see a vehicle to infantry shield transfer again but they weren't used like that very often, instead they were super tanked and used to run people over without the risk of being destroyed.

We don't try and bring religion into this game it is simply apart of who we are and we take it wherever we go. Corps and guilds by nature are gathering places for those who have things in common whether it be religion and politics or the love of 420 or METAL!!! I and my corp mates often run matches and squads with those we don't have the same beliefs and opinions or even the same language that's something CCP should be happy about as we try and help make this game inclusive to all peoples and even break down some the walls of stupidity and hatred that divides us in this world. We seek to be good squadmates and people on DUST while being in a corp with people of like opinions that isn't wrong and I think it makes this game better not worse. If you ever played with us or sometimes against us you would find we are just like the people around you and it's wrong to dislike someone without really taking a chance to get to know them that's often what we are accused of and I have found that very rarely true in my experiences. NOT SAYING that's what your doing just thought this would be a good time to point some of this stuff out as we sometimes get hate mail and truly hatefilled chat comments on mics and stuff and yet Iv'e never heard of one of our guys doing the same to anybody else and If I did they probably wouldn't be in GFC long. Thanks for taking time to read this response and yes my friend still misses his Logi LAVshe was about the only guy who I knew who tried to use them correctly(when he wasn't trying to run things over with it or do stunt tricks and stuff). |

Heh, a buddy mentioned that my Guristas Saga BPO reminded him of the logi lav's. The Guristas comes with yellow highlights, not unlike that of a logi.
Never did use a Logi LAV. |

I was actually going to spec into vehicles to get the logi variants,twas sad but i didn't make it in time before they removed them.
If they were readded i would eagerly spec into vehicles just for the logi variants.

Granted, however some of us actually quite liked the ability to use the shield and armour innate remote repairs those vehicles offered. (That in itself needed tweaking as it was a pain to use.)
So a few tweaks to the stats and hey presto - they are good to go again right?
So what is taking so long? Any word on these from CCP? |

I still seriously think that murder taxis were one of the primary cause of Dust's collapse. They were the vogue right at launch with Uprising and pretty much every new player that piled into the game when it started being advertised in the Store would have spent their first 2 months being mown down by the taxis.
That more than any protostomping or other issues would have destroyed any chance of building a clean new player base, that **** was frustrating on a completely unbelievable level. |
