It's time Large Blasters got fixed a little bit. Right now these things are so damn precise that you can sit at 200m and snipe infantry with the sheer damage and accuracy that they provide.
Give the blaster turret some kick and dispersion so that infantry at least have a fighting chance to get out of the way. They are seriously way too damn easy to use.

Dispersion and kick would reduce its viability against infantry, but keep it at the same lvl against other vehicles

If anything dispersion would make them better at Close and Medium range and I welcome this to all blaster turrets.
If I'm slightly off with a small or large blaster by a hair I miss.

Yea, small blasters need to change, I've only seen them on tanks, and even those are just there because they're on aurum tanks and can't be taken off

adding in a dispersion for blaster turret will only buff it versus infantry.
it can take me up to 20-50 rounds just to kill a mlt suit with it thats moving. the only reason ive gotten kills at around 100m is because they stood still and didnt bother moving an inch to the left or right. |

dats because of the pin point precision they can have... if u stood still ud be flat on the ground within a second. its perfectly fine in my opinion.
though a rail turret is far more effective if dealing with a bunch of guys in heavies with light weapons. |

1: As many people said, this would only buff it towards infantry. Try not just standing there. if you're 200m away, the thing isn't doing much at all but missing tbh. A better thing to do would be to nerf it's tracking slightly.
2: Needs less DPS, but a better alpha.

A little dot.
This massive blaster cannon has the pinpoint accuracy of a little dot?
Blasters should have an HMG reticule... And the bullets should fire out in a wide random spray like an HMG...
That way its great versus large targets like vehicles... But has issues with small targets.... |

i kinda prefer the dps and tracking. as its really the main edge over other tanks in cqc.
regardless its out dpsed by rail gun and possibly missiles.
but ive been able to put the tracking speed to good use as im capable of out maneuvering my opponent and keeping my turret on him at the same time firing. takes a decent amount of skill to use successfully. |

do u realize how effective the hmg is now since 1.8?.
ive managed to mow down a hallway crowded with mlt heavies with rail rifles. kinda more fun to fight them than other hmg heavies.
it used to take me around 200 rounds to kill a single player. and now it seems to take far less. |

You know how our weapons are only like 20% (lol yeah right, more like2%) efficient against vehicles? Do the same thing to large turrets versus infantry. It is only fair.
Or make my weapon do 100% of it's normal damage versus vehicles.

even that is not a good idea.
there has been many a match where it took a tank. to push an objective. as in tank provides cover and fire support for infantry.
infantry now capable of entering heavily defended building.
and from looking at proto scrub spambush. the only thing my blaster tank did was slow em down by a small amount. only extending the match from 20 secs to 30 secs. |

Possibility of using large turrets against infantry - big mistake.
I totally agree with the author. The dispersion should be substantially increased.
