So I have to withdraw statements I made before about cloaks having too much of a positive effect on scouts. I think scouts are balanced. I think logi's are balanced and they should fix the uplink/hive bonus to carry after death. I think Heavies in all categories are balanced. I think they should make a fusion of commando and Assault into a single suit type because both of those are less valuable IMO then many of the other options. I wouldn't be against a triple assault bonus with 2 light weapons, no equipment, and plenty of modules.
Vehicle and AV is finally balanced. MLT users aren't stacking MLT hardeners and pretending to be good with tanks. If you aren't actually good with a tank, it shows. If you aren't actually skilled with an ADS then it shows. I like this. Skilled ADS and Tank users still have grand success.
I actually believe, minus some bugs, the game is 95% balanced. I think they should lower the damage of the magsec the DPS is WWAAAAAYYYY too high. Ion Pistol should have a damage nerf as well because you can un cloak, unload 3 shots and then charge one and it's over for everyone but a heavy.
I know I still mentioned some things that might be able to be changed but if they kept the game exactly like this and just worked on bugs and player base I would be 100% happy.
For the record I run A-Logi, Min-Scout, and I dabble in a heavy suit for various reasons.
I just want them to focus on bugs and increasing player base and PvE. |

With Logi's being on the battlefield for prolonged periods the fights will only be more intense and dynamic.
Logi's should die fairly often IMO.

I guess increasing player base would need two things:
1) Gear cap game modes of some sort. Personally, I like the idea of having to complete certain tasks and earn certain in game trophies to get to the next game mode level so it isn't based on just gear but ability to play well.
2) PvE of some sort. Any PvE. Ideally one that reinforces important elements for each of the current game modes. Things like protecting an uplink, hitting fast moving enemies, avoiding vehicles and being stealthy no matter what fit you have, etc.
I really hope they don't do a player market before any of that. They should just stop where they are with that and do bugs and increase player base. |
