I lost 4 tanks today to two jackwads because my railgun wouldn't ******* fire. Granted, they were fairly inexpensive at around 250k, but it was still some serious bullshit. I don't know why I bother trying to use this game to relax. The majority of this community is a bunch of worthless cunts who think because they get lucky in a game it means they're so much better than you.
I've got ISK to burn. I'm a few more run-ins with these asshats from issuing bounties.
P.S. Slightly calmer after venting. RAGERAGERAGE
Edit: Also, if someone keeps calling in tanks, it doesn't make them a "noob" they might just not give a damn.

OP? Broken?! What hole have you been living in? The Railgun is the most tank-like weapon they have. It is not broken. It is meant for tank v. tank and tank v. structure. It works as intended. And I'm not asking for your pity. Your pity doesn't mean a thing to me. I was going for blaster to start but I try to balance the team. Too many rails? I get a blaster. Blasters? Go for rails. Sometimes I'll go missiles. Why should no one use railguns?

Here's quick and easy solution to the bug: hold down PS button and select quit game, problem solved, it wont bug for you anymore as long as you don't start up the game again.
R.I.P. Pre-1.7 tanks, you will be missed.

Hmmph. Large missiles are the most balanced turret. Yes they shred armor tanks and unhardened shield tanks, but that's all they're good for. You also can't charge at a tank and expect to win... what if you're one missile short from destroying them? Missiles work best from the rear and require skill. Plus they are hard to use against infantry without skill.
With one missile clip, I can only kill one tank. With one railgun clip, I can kill up to three tanks.

Yea, the rail isn't OP anymore, it is working as intended, (not including the bugs) you can't sit in the red line anymore

They're still over powered. All they have to do is come up to your red line. Their damage is still too much, and the rate of fire is too fast. It should charge between shots and charge as long as the forge gun. |

Rails are not OP anymore, dmg mods are. Also you can still use them from the redline quite easily. I've played 5 games (haven't played more cause my HDMI port is broken on my PS3 and SD quality sucks) after 1.8 and Hardener/Rail nerf and not a single game was without redline rails trying to bring down my ADS, but anyway, it's swarms that now bring down my Python.

"Aware"... Yes, I'm definitely aware of an non-rendered tank. It's pathetically easy to kill dropships with rail guns. For tanks to ever be balanced against aerial vehicles, we need HAV aerial vehicles. Until then, we get this severe inbalance between vehicles. |

Rails are OP. There is a reason everyone has switched to using them and using only the militia with dmg mod. RoF is too damn good. Missiles are useless now and very UP.
3 shots in about 3 seconds from a hill with a rail and you win. You get right on somebody and the same thing. Missiles can't take out a hardened shield tank. Missiles can't reload for second and third volley before hardeners are running out and you are trashed.
