"If you feel that Plasma Cannons are not a viable option due to this bug then we can only advise that you try an alternate weapon until the issues surrounding this item type are resolved."

Exactly! And as a player base we have shown time and time again that we are perfectly fine with this behavior. There are even people who feel the need to defend CCP's antics.

Oh I know you were kidding. And thank you for the videos. I really wish I had a video capture for my PS3. The sheer amount of game time I play with the PLC means I could record quite the little glitch video.

Stating "until it is fixed, it is going to be broken" isn't a really big problem; it is just being honest. Would be like saying "your car is broken. If you feel that the only way that you can get to work is a car, I suggest you find an alternative method until this car is fixed." It isn't a "if you don't like it, don't use it." It's an acknowledgement of the problem without being able to say much more. Seem alright to me.
The car broke down a year ago..... And they have nothing to say about it except "yeah, we know".

They gave solid advice: if you feel something isn't working right, don't complain because you're knowingly using a broken weapon. Just use something else until it's addressed. They acknowledged its a bug, what more did you expect?
FFS you're an idiot if you think CCP is just going to fix it out of the blue without any type of feedback from people who actually use the weapon. I love the logic here.
1. Don't use it until it's fixed
2. We know it's broke
3. No fix is currently planned.
4. Suck an egg

edit: Can you imagine the ******* riot if the Combat Rifle was misfiring and not reloading and CCP just said not to use it until they fix it but no fix is currently planned?
