It's not like the Goons being in Dust was good news for everyone however most of the reasons they left are some of the reasons I left.

like you say, I've tweaked my TV settings to accommodate DUST better which means lots of brightness and contrast mainly.
It is a lot of the same thing over and over again, I keep entertained through having 3 accounts with differing playstyles.
Try some older games, the PS2 has some great co-op games, timesplitters, red faction, star wars battlefront,
Ya best thing to do is to play new games or old games, I'm doing that till dust becomes an MMO-FPS or at least as close as CCP with the ps3 can get to.

We all have our own reasons, mine is the idea of dust 514 and that one day I'll be able to spend all that isk I have on something more than just dropsuits, and weapons for these damn pub battles. But now I'm done till Dust becomes worth it, this is my last break. If Fanfest has nothing that interests me then I'm done with the ps3 version or forever if it ever gets on the ps4.

He should wait until fanfest is over, but I understand why. He's frustrated, he doesn't want to deal with the game due to all the spamming of the FOTM and all the bugs. But he'll supposedly be back if dust gets onto the ps4.

hmmmmm maybe, Destiny on the ps4 is gonna be awesome for sure. Dust 514 version will probably be good, depends on how much they rush it. Since they've barely gotten the ps3 version right.

One of my friends in RL use to play this game, he started playing Dust around open beta. He got tired of all the bugs, lack of change, ****** up terrain, maps full of mountains, same three modes over and over again. Managed to come back for 1.7 but we got it was pretty much the same game, took a break again. I chose to play every now and then but still got bored very quickly. My friend in RL that played dust isn't impressed with 1.8 and neither am I. Nearly a year later and we are just now getting all the heavy suits, and it looks like CCP wasn't even planning to release them anytime soon. Ah that sucks you never saw him in the game again? The game needs more than new toys, was hoping for something to do than play amb,skirmish and dom a hundred times over again with the new suits and weapons in 1.8 . I got my friend into this game when open beta started, I got the closed beta key during the summer of 2012 and I remember showing him the game and explaining the idea if the game. He liked the idea of the game also, and that's the problem the idea is better than the game right now.

We can only hope and bother CCP to get this game to become an MMO-FPS, hopefully CCP Rouge has gotten things going and has made plenty of progress since he took over. I wonder what he'll be asked in that interview and if he'll give any hints as to what's going to be released. Not just how it's been since he took over.

but I still haven't given up. this Fanfest is CCP's chance to inspire, and reignite hope. I really hope they succeed. for their sake, and mine. Faith is what makes my DarkSouls2 character a beast. Ups wrong topic. Faith is what keeps the games of CCP alive. This even counts for EVE, and this game is very advanced. This FanFest is the last chance to make Dust 514 interesting and attractive again and it has to happened fast and not like in a half year. After the last FanFest a lot of us believed that in the months to come the game will become whole but nothing of this happens, we literately just got a view suits and weapons. Some suits are still missing and we still only have two heavy weapons. I have to stop here or this will become a wall of text :)

Yup it's not gonna be a sandbox MMO-FPS, I don't think I even want to watch their next presentation for Dust tomorrow. It's probably going to mostly be about Legion only.
