There fine just BUT the whole -Uncloak *throws RE's everywhere* cloak run away and wait for a poor red berry to walk over it and set it off- is kinda OP
I can't even count how many times I have been in one of those city maps and only heard the sound of RE's going down and my self and the rest of my squad ran like hell just at the sound of them for these reasons...
1. the bastard is just shy of being completely invisible and you always catch them when it's too late 2. Basic RE's insta kill almost and suit no matter the fit 3. If the RE's don't get you the lil prick will get you with his shotgun
I just think they should have to pick between REs or Cloak or knock off that second Equipment slot.

The best Mercs adapt to the changes of warfare or they would be left in lots of tiny pieces in the dust (pun intended) BTW I used to kill more Mercs as a scout with REs pre 1.8. We trained hard and died lots in our uncloaked fits pre 1.8. Nows its our time to show you what we can do and if we russle some feathers and keep you awake all night then we are doing our jobs. Edited: BTW some Sentinels have surived my REs recently
Did you experience the death frisbys of precourser? I did and these is almost no way to combat them, mycore is maxed no matter what happens, you dirty scouts deserve to get the nerf bat just like HAVS

Dragon fly scout [bpo] no skill invest
BPO shotgun no skill invest
Basic cloak 18,660 sp
Basic armor plate Basic shield extender
Toxin icd-9 Smg
CPU upgrade basic
Total cost: 5,160 isk
Fast enough to get away with enough tank to last a few seconds (note I have maxed core skills to make this work)
This is why scouts are OP never ran a scout before and 33/11 you ask any of the people from my corp on that board they will all say the same thing

There's no drawback to cloaks, no risk Where's the drawback to Drop Uplinks? Nanohives? Nanite Injectors? Active Scanners? Remote Explosives? Proximity Mines? Repair Tools? How about you consider for a moment the fact that the cloaking module is the only equipment that cannot directly give warpoints.
Nano hives - you need to be a cal logi to make them most effective Uplinks - amarr logi to be most effective Injectors are kinda meh anyway and there not game breaking OP Have you used active scanners ? Re's are situational Proximity mines only work in huge clumps Rep tool- min logi
Cloak - makes getting anything incredibly easy
