But Fanfest starts in May 1-3. I thought CCP will be announcing the winners of the CPM1 election on the day of the Fanfest like they always do with the CSM.

Thanks for the heads up. But still, if any of you get in touch with the devs at fanfest please refer them to the thread I linked in my OP for further discussion. Its nice to have racial knives but even better when the knives have their own distinct flavor according to their race.
