They still don't detonate if they stick sideways onto a wall or something (only works on vehicles). On environmental objects the RE needs to lie flat on the surface horizontally, not vertically or it won't ever detonate.

You just have to hit the trigger twice. It seems like they are taking to long to activate (like drop uplinks). Links take 3-5 seconds to come online.

This has been an issue for a few patches now. File a bug report please. I've made topics on this before. Last time I filed a bug report and submitted a video they told me it was me erroneously pressing the button twice.

It gives the victims a couple seconds to kill you before detonation. The cloakers would be OP if this was fixed(as we saw with detonation after death). It does put a hurt on my tank slaughtering business. I ran some more tests and found that droplinks/remote explosives/nanos take the same amount of time to become active once deployed. I'm guessing, working as intended. "Balance". You just have to wait for them to light up before you hit the trigger.
