If I stood still for an extra 10 seconds it might have even hurt! No seriously guys, don't shoot at an armor tanker until your laser got heated enough, you're just giving away your position and I have all the time in the world to GTFO and retaliate. My intentions is to have a fun game for everyone. If I seem to be biased, I have good hard data to back it up.

My KD has actually come to stop, because I'm not getting enough kills in matches, because I'm getting an insane amount of assists. So much so, that a 40-bomb has eluded me in 1.8 so far I'm getting 30+ kill games with 14-18 assists constantly. So, I use an CR as my alternate weapon... by the time I crunch shields off someone, a teammate has come along and stole the kill right out from under me. I'm adjusting. The laser however is still garbage. Its just a kill stealer and/or assist getter. I've died ONCE to a laser in 1.8 in a 1v1. And I was using a BK-42 at about 75m, standing in the middle of the open, being cocky, shooting at a Ak.0 with a ELM-7 in his hands... He should have won that gunfight, and he did... BARELY. But the laser is unique and fun to use, no doubt. But Gallente's are still bane of my existence in this game... but at least I get to eat Caldaris for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I ain't got time for dat sh!t At least I'm not King ThunderBolt

You need to run into people who are actually competent, apparently. It's designed like the mass driver to punish anyone who tries to come out of cover, and to keep them in cover. However in 1.8 it's now somewhat more useful at medium range and you just have to trust in the weapon while staying outside of the opposing optimal if you intend to kill with it. But really, if you see someone armor tanking with more than 600 armor you should just find a better target or make sure they can't get to cover before you start firing again. Or you can aim the laser at the ground, heat up and aim at the armor guy. Surprise over 1000 DPS :D My intentions is to have a fun game for everyone. I am no KDR or Kill chaser in general (only sometimes I get the red mists ) so I am doing fine with the advanced LR its a great 2nd line fire support tool. Sometimes I have to overheat to get a kill, but I think thats fair. I like the amarr mechanics in general. They have the range superiority for a downside. With any weapon you really have to choose your battlefield carefully and try to keep within the optimal distance. I would never run with only a LR into CQC areas. Hello I am a casual solo player.
