The Flaylock pistol was once an evil gun but thanks to CCP its now a terrible weapon and has no point for existence but I'm here to try to at least change your minds and convince you that it needs a slight buff.
Just to set things straight the blast radius should not increase that should stay the same including the Flaylock skill which increases the blast radius by 5 percent each Ievel.
The blast radius should stay the same because it is very small but the damage needs an increase seeing as the DPM is low and won't kill a person unless at low health.
This does not include the proficiency level skill but does include the level 5 flaylock pistol skill and only splash damage.
Std:
Flaylock Pistol:1.25m-140DPM(Damage per missile)
Breach flaylock pistol:0.94m(Rounded)-98DPM
Adv:
Gn-13 Flaylock Pistol:1.56M(Rounded)-147DPM
Gn-20 Flaylock Pistol: Exact stats up above, takes up less cpu/pg
Pro:
Core Flaylock Pistol:1.88m(rounded)-154DPM
As you can see the proto pistol does not even hit 2m and only does 154DPM.
However, if you were to increase the damage on the Flaylock it would actually be a useable gun seeing as you still need to have precise aim at their body and be accurate with them just like any other pistol to actually get damage on them.However, with a slight buff it will do more damage which would actually kill the target.
I suggest a 15 DPM increase because the splash radius actually requires you to shoot at them and not spray and pray.
The new stats would be
(Including level 5 flaylock pistol and only splash damage)
Std:
Flaylock Pistol:155DPM-1.25M
Breach Flaylock Pistol:113DPM-0.94M
Adv:
Gn-13 Flaylock Pistol:1.56M-162DPM
Gn-20 Flaylock Pistol:Exact same stats as above
Pro:
Core Flaylock Pistol:1.88m-169DPM

How anyone can argue against this slight buff Is beyond me please contact me in game if you have any other ideas or would like to debate on how this is not a good buff to the Flaylock pistol.
