OK, been thinking about this a bit! Was playing around with my Wiyrkomi Swarm Launcher today. Was locking on to a tank first shoot was OK but right after i fired and went to lock on to the tank that was no more then 6m away from me! Funny thing happen, It wouldn't lock on I had to let off the fire again for a sec time then lock back onto the tank that is 6m from me! Point being locking onto a tanks fills kind of bugged vrs locking onto clone bays, give it a try you will see what I mean.
So my idea to fix this would be to add a 25m lock on once your locked your locked tell you have to reload that is. Can put in a primer to so after you have locked on you have to let it charge for (insert number)1 sec after first shoot and sec that why your not just shooting back to back where with a 3 round shoot you wouldn't shoot off 18 missiles at once! Anything out side of the 25m range you would just do your manual lock on's at max range of 125m |

I'm gonna need that with better grammar and a side of sentence structure please.
Best PVE idea I've seen.

Swarm launchers locks are a bit finicky.
You have to lock on to the centre of the vehicle where the red diamond is. This means that if a tank is 1m from you but a lamp post is between you and the red diamond then you can't lock on. This has the unfortunate side affect of exposing you to the turret whenever you want to lock on.
Swarm locks also behave oddly with low framerates and latency. |

No sympathy from me as long as swarm impact to my tank drops my framerate to 0 for a couple of seconds making you immortal while you aim the next shot and the next one till you have to reload and I can finally choose between running away and trying to kill you when you pop out of cover. And it's been like this forever.
R.I.P. Pre-1.7 tanks, you will be missed.

Really I've killed I don't know how many tanks! Due to the fact, tankers think they are army of one, and they roll out without support from found forces. There is a trick to only half expose your self and still getting lock on, and the tank can't hit you, but we shouldn't have to do that. I've been doing this for a while now, and this is just a way to make it a bit more fun! |

Especially in first person view where your screen is covered with framerate reducing particle effects which makes you unable to see anything while the swarm user launches his next volley at you and darts back into cover before you can get your bearings.

It is just a button push to take your self out of first person, and jump over to 3rd person view! |

It is just a button push to take your self out of first person, and jump over to 3rd person view! funny thing is when I'm in 3rd person view my frame rate really never drops You know that you cannot get the same lining angles with turret in 1st P and 3rd P? And mine drops to about half even in 3rd P. And you know that when the framerate drops it is too late to try and switch anymore? And I only use 1st P when I cannot line up shots in 3rd P. I do however try to switch to 3rd P if I think I need to bail out of the situation.

Not sure about you but I have both a new gen PS3 and an Old gen PS3 and the game works different on them! The old gen its a bit more sluggish where the new gen has like lag spikes really bad so they both kind of have their down falls! |
