With the new bonuses to logi suits only affecting single equipment types, many people have been wondering if bonuses remain applied to deployed equipment after switching to a different suit. For example, does the Amarr Logi uplink bonus stay with deployed uplinks after switching to a Min Logi suit?
There have been many threads on this subject without a definitive answer or even a single response. Not even a "We're looking into it" or a "We're not allowed to say." (This thread being two weeks old now.)
Seriously, it's only a yes or no question. Can we please get an answer?
...Please? |

Soraya Xel wrote:I would think it should be relatively easy to test this in matches. Spawn a remote uplink with Amarr suit, kill yourself. See what the spawn time is after your clone is destroyed.
You would think so but apparently there are various bugs plaguing uplinks that cause the shown spawn time (and actual spawn time) to fluctuate erratically.
That and I've heard people say that dying keeps the bonuses on deployed equipment while switching at a depot doesn't. I've also heard the opposite.
All it would take is a simple yes or no from the devs or CPM and this matter would be resolved once and for all. |

The Black Jackal wrote:The answer is no.
If you switch suits, your links / hives, or bonus-affected equipment do not retain their bonus.
There is currently a gaming loophole that allows you to retain these bonuses for 1 clone afterwards, but if you switch suits at a Supply Depot, the mechanics make your equipment not bonused.
I appreciate you taking the time to share what you know of the topic at hand but, unfortunately, you have neither a Dev nor a CPM tag.
With the bugs running rampant, we don't know if what you're experiencing is actually intended or not.
Also, it's becoming less about what the answer actually is. For me, it's now about getting any sort of answer at all from those who claim to listen to us, then proceed to ignore our concerns for weeks to months at a time. I'd just like to know we're actually being listened to. |
