The only suits that can truly solo matches are Scouts, and the best out of the bunch to solo in is the Calamari
I agree. Squad compositions are becoming more and more important. Proper squid composition? -Aramis

Uploading right meow. ^_^
splitting up the footage though. Going to use bits and pieces for another video but you and I have an awesome fight against 2 heavies at the beginning.

I'm in an advanced Cal assault with 1-2 profile damps in the lows, two complex extenders, and maybe a basic precision enhancer. The problem is that, for my suit anyways, I am blind. No amount of precision or range amps can fix that. And I don't know how to adapt to that situation It's not everyone's job to tank precision. Logi's have the second best tacnet stats next to scouts. Perhaps people should fit their logi's to support their team? So your saying I should gimp my already glimped suit more. Know what yeah sure i'm going to go a head and make myself easier to kill better yet i'll just go into the red line and blow myself up with Re's tts easier that way. You can't blow yourself up with re's in the enemy red line as equipment won't stay deployed in their red zone so your statement is a failure

But yeah, I'm trying to help out some people with their medium and heavy frames. You'd be surprised at what a few precision enhancers would do for you. One of my favorite suits right now is the Cal Heavy with a complex shield regulator, two complex precisions, a complex reactive plus an HMG. In a closed room hallway you will lose to the armored up heavy but in an open space you can strafe your ass off and when you're hurt, just a few seconds behind cover fixes that. No logi required. How are you reaping with a regulator in one low slot if you don't need a logi ???
Stop asking for tiercide , your killing variety and the fun of this game at the same dam time .

I mistyped that, it's complex shield recharger. The complex reactive plate gives me 2 a second but I'm relying on basically just my 600 shields, my 1 second shield recharge delay (which is really like 3-4 seconds definitely not 1) and the complex recharge puts me at like 44 shield per second. The complex reactive plate puts me right around 1100 total HP. But like I said, two complex precision enhancers and you see the battlefield so well just make sure you are strafing your ass off against other heavies. |

I run my Minja Ewar with a caldari scout friend from my corp :) we relay info back and forthand tend to get the jump on several unsuspecting suits. When things go south we duck around the corner where a heavy friendly is waiting to mop up the comp. Moody, your videos are an inspiration for me and Im glad you have not abandoned the ole rust bucket! Tetnus kills bro. |

Precision Enhancers have ALWAYS been good use of a high slot but because of the recent FOTM's and desire for shield tank over any other consideration it's only now, when the overall TTD as increased and the scouts newfound buffness, that players are waking up to them.
So to all that have been screaming about scouts being OP, the counter has always been there. You just had to find it.

Depends on the type of situation and the location where you are positioned really, but yes.
Now to get people in scout and heavy suits to actually teamplay...

Just like the best Logis and Assaults do.
And just like the best tanks and Dropships do. |

Yep, I guess the Precision Enhancement is the new standard now that Dmg mods got reduces and cloak in the new shinny toy.
Too bad I got only 1 high slot on my cheep dren suit...still better than nothing. I can see cloaked assault or Logy, but scout, no.
The best part is how they feel invisible when they aren't really, make them their own counter. |
