You know they're planning on putting a "bubble shield" which fills the roles of portable cover and the invulnerability bubble thing but doesn't do either one too ridiculously, right?

I'm a fan of adding jump packs - NOT jetpacks - but they would EITHER have to come with a "no fall damage while equipped" effect, or you'd have to jump high enough to get inertia dampening as you fall, otherwise they're pretty bad.

And proper jetpacks would be ridiculously awkward as equipment, and I can't think of anywhere else you'd fit one that would work better, unless they give MTACs jump jets.

Trap Nano hives that when thrown down turn red to us, blue to the enemy, but deplete ammo reserves when the enemy steps over them instead of giving them ammo.

Shield Bubbles are in the Works, deployed like a nanohive allows you to rez and rep nearby enemies without that damn sniper getting everyone 25 times.
No Jump Jets EVER, nor Jump pads, or any jump anything.
Deployable cover is regularly discussed but not nearly as powerful you have suggested.
