Safety Bubble - Once activated invulnerable bubble surround the poor logi.

So most of the community has fallen head over heels for the newest equipment. I think they are kinda lame, but that's just my opinion. But it got me wondering what other awesomely stupid things to fill our equipment slots.

Mind to the reader I would like to see this game go role specific and these equipment are thought of in such a universe.

Heavy Equipment (yes my universe also has an equipment slot. Everyone needs to know the feeling of a well placed slot.)
- Portable Cover - Throw down a hive and a 5k shield pops up the size of the 3 box cluster. Cover anytime in the harsh environment that is open field. Also handy for the local AV guy!

Assaults (2 slots of fullness for our favorite sons)
-Limited High Jump Pack - A jetpack of sorts to easily change tactical advantage. Or just simply jump from a cloak attack, and bring the rain down. It could even be a nano hive jump pad allowing multiple allies to jump to higher levels. Beats the broken ladders.

Logi(Now please remember this is fiction)

Of course all of these stupid equipments would need short timers and long cool down or 1 per slot. But this should be true of the cloaks as well.
If there were more crazy sci-fi options I might find the cloak thing not so stupid.

Instead of a high jump pack, I want teleportation grenades.

Basically you throw them and they teleport you where they land (after about a sec of settling).

They'd be balanced because they take some time to arc and activate, useful for scaling buildings/ infiltrating, and balanced again because of difficulty of use (imagine throwing them in the redline or an acid bath).

Got to admit, the portable cover is one of the dumbest ideas I've heard, yet it's genius! It'll fit perfectly into DUST.

Grappling hook gun. Plasma-powered rollerblades. Proximity Flux Mines (or maybe with laser trip wires). ECM jammers and what not. Rep Tool variant that derepairs enemies and Nanite Injector that overloads systems of injected enemies and screws with them in various ways.
