Assaults suits have been made redundant overnight. The upcoming reworking of assault/medium suit slots should however bring all suit classes into balance. Heavies and scout are only FOTM because the medium suit changes haven't happened at the same time. CCP, do not start nerfing scouts again. Just bring assaults into balance relative to them. I've started learning scouting in 1.8 and I love it. Caldari scout is amazing. Desperate attempt to get BPOs

Logis are still one of a kind and not really overshadowed by anything else being able to carry so much equipment. Assaults on the other hand make me sad. The Caldari reload bonus doesn't feel nearly fast enough, if it was a 10% per level you could almost insta-reload with the skill maxed, I think that would make it much more fun. That or just replace the bonus completely because it really isn't that noticeable on anything but the sniper rifle. This sums up 75% of the forum posts.

I think insta reload may be too excessive, but if you train the rapid reload skill and the assault skill to 5 it should get interesting :) Gaming Freek DUST 514 YouTube Channel
