I'm sick and tired of hearing both sides of the argument. People who spread rumors like this are troglodytes...
If the myofibril doesn't work, do sidearm mods?

Myofibril mods increase R3 damage.
Sidearm mods increase R1 Damage.
So sidearm mods are most optimal for running knives.
If you run cloak and shotgun, you're a scrub

Or you're dead.
It's most definately side arm mods though. Myofibrils would make knives sooooo much cheese.

My R3 button makes me look down the scope. My R1 button changes my weapon. Neither of those things does damage unless I am using remote mines, and I don't think that myofibril mods increase that damage.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

It's a real pain in the ass when you make an alt character with 500K SP and you **** up and skill into the wrong thing.

If they are saying melee mods are used to increase knife damage, more than likely they aren't using the knives...or took the advice of someone else that rarely uses them.
I don't always win 1v1 but... when I don't, I cry for nerfs. Stay nerfing my friends.
