My previous corp was kind of dissolving and I had squaded with some good players from G.L.O.R.Y. so I decided to apply I was accepted and the first time I logged in as a member they were geting ready for a PC. Some guys that were supposed to be there didn't show and they needed a logi so I volunteered. After relogging I couldn't hear anything on comms and lost a minute trying to fix it to no avail and then had to catch up to my squad, only to discover that the guy I was supposed to be repping had never shown up. I tried to find a group to support but I had no comms and they were all running around in confusion. Their clone pack ran out quick and the other team (ringers) stomped us.
Afterward, some guys got their panties in a wad and, instead of admitting they got straight punked and needed to L2P, they started talking about how there must have been a spy that told the opponent what their plan was, and hey wasn't there a new guy who just joined the corp in battle and where was he at the start and why was he off comms? What a joke. As if there was any need for intel on these noobs. The platoon leader thought it was a three point map and it turned out to be a five point. So whatever "master plan" there was for a spy to relay got thrown out right at the start. And how much intel could someone who'd been in the corp for less than 24 hours have gathered anyway? Fail corp is fail.
Anyways, 3 days later, after having only played a few matches due to being on vacation and using my brother's PS3, I was kicked with no explanation. So this is what you get from G.L.O.R.Y. when you take a chance on them and leave behind what you know. When they treat new recruits that way, that tells you all you need to know. |

Lol hey Joe. Where you goin with that gun in your hand? Well hopefully that's an overstatement. I wish only the best for Exemplars and Top Men. It was just that a lot of guys I ran with left for one reason or another and it was hard to form squads. And the squabbling sapped my morale. Time for a fresh start. |

But, I digress. Exemplars is doing fine, but I understand your concerns. Hopefully you'll return to us someday.
Lol! I appreciate that Soraya. And I'm glad to hear it. You know better than me. As a parting gift maybe try to get some of those grunts to stay in topmen.pub. It's always so dead. I still want to squad with y'all! |
