If you can prove, 100%, that this is due solely to SSDs, then sure. If it is, in anyway, due to someones horrible connection, then will you go as far as normalizing latency to help out the enemy team? How about putting in latency corrections like what is in CoD where hitboxes never follow the player (as in how scouts used to be)? I don't think you can, 100% pin this to SSD. The most SSD has done for me is give me war barge time, and, maybe, 1 to 2 seconds in the match before everyone else... So I might have time to call in a vehicle, but not like how you say. As well, I get around 6 to 8 megabyte down (48 to 64 mbps) and as of testing lazt night, a full megabyte up even during max download. So... can you disprove my claim that it is my internet?

FYI, since joining the Learning Coalition, I play with people using various versions of the PS3 and regular hard drives, and a lot of the time they beat me into the match. As well, it cost $20 more to replace my corrupted hard drive from the 1.7 patch (thanks CCP!) and it was, at the time, the fastest on the market. Truly, not the difference you're imagining. Remember, some people in the world have fiber optics and gigabit connections...

People can spawn in far before anyone else and a game mechanic needs to be put in place to help correct the unfair advantage. Whether that be due to their SSD and or their connection it doesn't matter.
Your post is pointless.
Also it's been proven by many people that SSD's allow you to load into the game much quicker than everyone else.
I am glad you are ignoring the route of logic and instead go to base emotions. What I am saying is, yes, SSDs allow you to load in faster, but typically negligible amounts when considering internet connection speed. If you care so much about "fairness", why not also ask for latency correction measures?
Saying no one cares about the opposing opinion is a quick way to make yourself look silly... all I am doing is showing the logical argument against yours, and providing you with alternative reasons, as well as, other correction measures which I don't think anyone wants. The problem is, you are focusing in on something that, in the long run, is trivial... Your corrections methods would need to be expanded to encompass all possible reasons this happens.
Ignoring the fact that the bandwidth bottleneck in the PS3 internal structure isn't entirely on the hard drive, either...

For duck's sake even CoD does this.
Ace Combat does this(at least the 4th one did)
Armored Core, Gran Turismo, UT (all of them). Tribes: and MechWarrior do this.
Bring it in CCP.
They do this because of internet connection variances and have in place latency corrections... not because of SSD drives. Just saying... your ire is pointed in the wrong direction.

No, I would like the problem to be fixed, but I don't see the same monster under the bed that you do.

... I have made my point clear, it isn't just SSDs that cause people to load in at vastly different times... Internet connection and speeds will do the same thing but to much greater scale. You see SSD as a problem; I see it being a minor one, but when compared to the massive latency differences, not the overwhelming thing you make it out to be.

Simple fact is IT DOESN'T MATTER. This mechanic needs to be put in place. He just can't come out and say he hates puppies, com'on.
No, I quite love my schnauzer-pug mix puppy, despite her propensity to constantly toy with all my stuff like a fox.

You see SSD as a problem; I see it being a minor one, but when compared to the massive latency differences, not the overwhelming thing you make it out to be. But in this case the SSD has been PROVEN over and over again to give you a 5-10 second headstart. I have one and if I have my suits loaded before the match I can hit the ground and capture the home point before some people have spawned in.
I have one and never see that same level of benefit. All I am saying is, are you accounting for all factors? I don't think it is 100% the SSD but the latency as well, which we all know is a huge problem in this game. If, as you say, you can hack the home point before others spawn in, don't you think that HUGE time difference can be contributed to other things then just a simple hard drive swap?
