Hmm I wonder why you see variety in suits. That's weird. It's not balanced at all. The weapons are OK I guess but as an assault there's nothing I can do anymore.. Well except die. If you stop for a few seconds to unload the 4 clips it takes to kill a heavy you get shot it the back. Scouts have taken the assault role and heavies are just waddling around spraying other heavies. As much as I hated 1.7 I think I'm starting to dislike 1.8 more. |

If people keep viewing it like you do, then this game will never evolve to the hectic battlefield that CCP has envisioned. Because trust me, its going to get worst. There's already talks about a web stasis that slows you down. It is quite known that CCP wants to enhance the e-war of Dust.
I want it to be a hectic battlefield too.. But what really needs to happen is more players in the field not more crazy ways to kill people 1v1. As far as 1.8 goes, it's not hectic at all. Half of the players are invisible sneaking about. I usually get shotguned before I get a hectic exciting feeling. Also, I love the e-war stuff but right now it's more like ez-war. I am better off with a STD scout than a proto assault. If they want to add creative features they have to also make sure they are not OP. The cloak is close but it needs a delay before you can shoot, maybe just 1 sec. Also I think it recharges a bit too fast, you can practically stay cloaked all the time. |

DONT TALK ABOUT IT BE ABOUT IT
Whoa dude. Why don't you use your brain before calling every assault a scrub. Our suits currently suck. It's not uncommon for me to see scouts with more HP. I agree with what your saying about some QQ but are you honestly defending people who shoot 2 - 3 shotgun rounds while still invisible. How in the world does that make you good. In 1.8 there is almost nothing to counter scouts except heavies and mass drivers. " Oh you scrub stupid assault loser scrublet, why don't you use your eyes/ gut gud". We've got heavies eager to chase us down and spray us for an easy kill, we have scouts hitting from every direction, and any logis are glued to the heavies. Why don't you suit up in a medium frame and see how well you do. |
