I run an enhanced damp only and I beat all ADV and Basic Scanners. While cloaked I beat a majority of Gal Scouts that I run past but not all.
No you cannot melee while cloaked. I tried that and it didn't work and I decloaked and kept hitting the guy not realizing it and I got killed for being paper thin. If a clone sneezes you'll die since you have zero HP. You will absolutely decloak if you melee someone and it hits. I tried doing it to air on the day of the release and it DID NOT uncloak me. But when I hit a teammate It decloaked me. When I hit an installation it Decloaked me. When I hit an enemy, it decloaked me.
Personally, I'm a HUGE Min-Scout fan since I run Dom. I'll tell you 4 of my proto fits. Note that one is the Republican Proto Scout suit from the LP store and has one less Low Slot but an extra equipment.

Your fit that you posted just will not work because melee will uncloak you. It's better to use shields so a stray bullet doesn't kill you in, practically, a single shot. Not to mention when cloaked you are still getting hit by splash damage from Mass Drivers which I learned real quick. Shields dampen some of the damage. This is SUPER important. Don't give them free kills by being careless with your HP.
I love hacking. It's a huge part of my game. In addition when using the brick tank version you can **** people while they call in a vehicle, hack it, and then take it into their red so they know you did and let it get destroyed before they can get to it. |
