shield extender have a -5% scan precision and armor -5% scan profile or just make the cost of extender go way up and give assualt skill to reduce cpu/cg usage. STOP SCOUT BRICK TANKING.

It's highly ignorant to tell people how they should fit their own suits. If the scout wants to brick tank, the scout wants to brick tank. With the new TTK and the community appreciated RR nerf, the opposition has all the grace they need to put up a reasonable defense.
Yet and still, the QQs come.
When you look at the grandscale, the only difference is now you have to watch your surroundings even more. But before the cloaks, that was still a priority on the battlefield. I can't tell how many times, pre 1.8, a scout caught me unawares and dropped me quickly. The cloaks now provide scouts for a way to move across the field without possibly being noticed instead of running and hugging buildings and such to use as cover.

No. Scouts are not balanced... Caldari scout outclasses their assault variants by every single degree measurable. Buff Assaults, do not nerf heavies, and then we should be more balanced. |

And just how does the CalSco outclass the assault? Give me examples here instead of repeating forum opinions that really make no sense when viewed from a different perspective.
You guys just don't like the cloak factor. Because guys choose to cloak and dual tank, does not mean the Assault is outclassed or the Scout isn't balanced.
I'm pretty sure we can find reasons for each dropsuit on how one outclasses the other.
Sometimes you have to push the bar from ya chest, you know.

The assault ends up with a slight, minute, miniscule, irrelevant advantage in HP, around a fraction of a fraction a second in regards of weapon DPS. The scout has 2 equipment slots, faster recharge, shorter delays, faster speeds, faster hacks, more diversity, more applicable bonuses that are passive...should I continue, or can we all agree that you are an idiot and we can move on?

I agree in a way, I've always thought Shields should work comparatively with armour, as in, basic gives you 85, enhanced gives you 110 and complex gives you 135 extra shields.
I do not see the point of even considering the basic and enhanced versions of the shield extender, 22, 33 and 66 respectively- pointless! I mean 22 and 33 is what - one AR bullet!? how can CCP justify these numbers?? I think this is probably why people are prone to armour tanking, because shield tanking is basically not possible.
Why not make shields the same values as armour, but give a different penalty - like you say, with scan precision/range (makes sense if you are surrounded by a progressively thicker barrier around you) penalty comparable with the armour counterparts?
Thoughts?
I'm thinking shield related bonuses may moot my point but do they exist any more? (Cal assaults used to be OP as their bonus was to extenders, isn't that recharge now instead?)
