Edit edit: STOP telling me fits where the amarr has 'respectable stats' as the gallente STILL stomps its golden shiny ti-ts into the dirt.
A loss in precision/shield/dmg mods is a bad reason not to do this, as amarr is supposed to be the combat scout/runner. Not an EWAR/shotgun scout.
As we all know by now, there's nothing making the amarr scout better than the gallente. Wanna stack armor? You'll be 80 or so short of gallente as their innate reps allow plate stacking, while you can't. This is not a matter of galscout being OP, more the fact that the amarr scout has different than the gallente, aside from 30 HP base traded in for: loss in speed, and a loss o innate reps.
Therefore i make a proposal- Switch a high slot on the amarr scout for a low, at all tiers.
Standard galscout is supposed to be 2/2 correct? Therefore 1/3 for amarr. Advanced has 2/3 layout, so amarr gets 1/4 Prototype gets 2/4, so amarr gets 1/5.
This allows you to stack 4 plates, followed by a rep, giving amarr full capability to reach higher HP AND reps than gallente. Alternatively, you could put 5 kincats, allowing you to hit higher Speeds(?)
As anither alternative- 2 damps, 1 range amp, a rep, and a plate/cardiac/kincat.
1. You're an idiot. You're ideas are stupid, your class comparison is wrong, and to your suggestion is just another attempt by the ridiculous Amarr community to give them the best suit. - the Gal scout is superior to the Amarr, it can play any game the Amarr suit can play because the Amarr suit not having its bonus equal to the complex cardiac reg. This should be your argument to boost your class and make it on par with the Gal. The Amarr would have more eHP, better shield regen at the cost of armor passive reps if the Cardiac was equal. This would balance your Amarr scout with the Gal suit. If you wanted to add a very very small and reasonable bonus (Ike seeing equipment at further ranges more effectively, or getting increased WP for hacking objectives controlled by enemy) to fits the saboteur role.
2. Showing that a class is very close to another is showing balanced. Just because you want your suit to be the golden goose, doesn't mean you can throw out objectivity. Suggesting that your Amarr suit should be 1-4 and 1-5 layouts is again ridiculous. The 2-4 load out is great for flexibility, adaptation and overall racial strength (when you see Cal and Min being pinholed and restricted to 2 lows and 3 lows). They can't play the speed or stealth games that the Amarr and Gal can play, but you don't seem to want balance but instead the best suit.
3. Arguing that the Amarr suit is the worst scout suit is also wrong. The Min suits are the worst. This particularly stands out at the advanced tier due to its low PG, restrictions to weapons, 2 low slots on a movement (speed/stealth) role, and the fact its weapon doesn't match its race (nor does it have a PG reduction skill).
Get off your high horse, you have a viable class which simply lacks a complex version of its racial bonus. And stop comparing classes based on ridiculous builds, oh i can fit 4 kin cats and the cal and fit two so i am better. That **** is invalid and childish. Build the chars how they are being used, build them to be similar, build them to excel at their niches and then compare them. The Amarr is just missing a complex version and be on par. |
