I played 10 matches this morning with a full squad of compotent corp mates, and we lost 9/10. Was it to not pushing or holding objectives? nope it was to being cloned EVERY darn time! at the end of the match my squad would be the top 6 then 7-8 would have an ok scoure, but 9-16 all had scores along the lines of 3/17, 1/20, 5/15... Im glad 1.8 has brought in some fresh blood but for Gods sake CCP they are being murderated, and while this is a plea only half wanting them to stop getting murdered the other half is me wanting them OFF MY TEAM!
I care not for KayDeeRRaarrs I just want to win matches i fought hard to win, but lose because newberrys are being feed into a woodchiper and cloning us halfway trough a match.
These forums must be located in the Californin country side, there is whine as far as the eye can see.

Well, a lot of that is dependent on what the rest of your team is made of. If you have a whole bunch of random blueberry scrubs that go 0/10 at the bottom of the board, it's no wonder you get cloned out.
My squads rarely loose matches. If we do, it is often due to a communication breakdown, disorganization or really terrible teammates. Sometimes we can carry matches, but that's only if the blueberries are actually trying to do something.
A few weeks ago we had a match in which a whole bunch of blueberries just sat on top of a tower with swarm launchers and would just randomly fire at any vehicles that came by. Because it was a skirmish, there was no way we could hold all of the points, so we tried to clone out the reds and almost succeeded, but we had already lost too much MCC health by that time. It eventually got to the point that whenever we'd hack an objective, we'd end up loosing a different one right away on the other side of the map.
Always the last person to leave. Always the one cleaning up people's messes.

As much as I hate being teamed with Newberrys, I dont really think yelling at them will make them play any better, Im asumming most have been tossed into the meat grinder after playing 3 academy matches.
On a Side note I sue hope people finish play testing scout suits soon, I notice allot of proto scouts running around slaying, but never hacking anything.

I agree. There should be proper balance, some kind of tutorial, or some sort of campaign. Doesnt need to be good, just good enough to get the hang of fitting stuff and gameplay. Then followed by academy matches till 50k WP or such.
Just the last one would be enough...

It's a minor consideration but the event should be factored in. I am no great shake at this game particularly when running around in c-1 commando suit with the new smg both of which I have minimum sp invested in as they are not my suit choices.
Sigh, what we do for extra SP. |
