Step 1: Fit a Cloak
Step 2: Fit a Shotgun
That's pretty much it. |

One or two kinetics is good enough, others you can place cardiac regulators for the duration and recharge.
Assassination is my thing.

You can either use modules to strengthen your weakness are make your strong points even stronger. Gals had good pasive scans so a couple of precision enhancers and range amplifiers you'll be able to see everything within a 50 meter range. Maybe some kinkats and sprint at 11mps. I run a minja with 2 kinkats. I sprint at 10.3 and I love it.

Personally, I always had a Shield Extender on a GalScout for a little bit extra tank without the mobility cost of plates.
Shotguns are a great Scout weapon, cloak or no. Sniper Rifles are also a viable option, but with idosyncratic hit detection, they're unreliable. Any Rifle is an effective weapon on any suit, but Scouts have inherent advantages which cater more to high alpha damage than DPS weaponry. If you try to damage race a non-Scout, you WILL lose. If you're using a Rifle, always - ALWAYS aim to get the first few shots off. You can also take advantage of a Scout's shield regen and delay by ducking into cover when hurt, and popping out seconds later before your opponent has had time to recover.
GalScouts get inherent armour repair, so you'll be regenerating from damage even when your shield goes down. You don't want to lose speed by stacking plates, and you don't need reppers, so fill out your low slots with profile dampeners and/or precision enhancers in whatever combination you feel is most effective. Go for dampening if you want to be hidden from enemy scanners (GalScouts are already pretty good at this) or precision if you want to pick up more of your enemies on your own scanner. |

Well I use the galscout with dual RE's, SG and SMG for CQC and i always hit 20/4, 20/7 or so in Lag City. But i use the cloak scout sometimes for sniper fitting in open maps (Manus Peak).

All this is easy with god judgement, basic scout suits, complex shield extenders, and good judgement.

Never attack head on. Ever. Always attack from the side or behind. Always work toward getting better position. Don't trust the cloak too much.
