It was amazing. All my shots hit, my FPS didn't drop below 25, enemies didn't teleport while strafing, I wasn't shot around corners... "The sun is shining, the weather is sweet y'all...  "
Why can't that many people from the East Coast sync up with me everytime?

Isn't it amazing when that happens! I had one a few months ago, completely reminded me what I'd been missing for the last 10 months or so - why I liked Dust so much before gameplay started to take a nosedive in early beta!
I just tried 3 games this evening, and quit every one in disgust (which is kinda normal) - experience is *so* poor...
Unfortunately, with massive lag compensation equating to more of a bonus than a levelling of the playing field, plus the ability to select your server zone, the only people sticking round are those who benefit from Dust's network failings, and that (hopefully small) minority who actively abuse the lag. I don't see an influx of people anytime soon, which gives me doubts about Dust's future - the devs are simply ignoring the main issue of awful gameplay for a huge section of their playerbase.
Great to hear you had a good game, though - that one or two playable games every year really remind you what you saw in Dust, don't they?!

Is that why I rarely lag? Is there an east coast bias in New Eden too?

I play with people from Texas, not because of my connection but because all Texans are beast at fps' 
If you have a poor gun game no proto suit can help you.

The Gallente research facility is back to 1.4
The lag grows as the match goes on.
Sometimes i have to end up "AFKing" in the ground spawn when the frame rate gets impossible and unplayable. |

You have to have more content for more people to play. Remember that when everyone is bitching about balance, even bugs too, but to a lesser degree.
People will play a flawed but interesting game. they will not play a flawless but boring game.

East coast tends to get people anywhere from Quebec, to Brazil, to Brussels. That's not sometime that's all the time.

Hm. I live on the East coast, don't seem to have much problem with lag - admittedly I do not play PC, but I hear people on comms complaining about lag in FW and pubs and I don't get much of it.
