 You don't need to log on to eve to get help, you can visit and browse the forums without logging in.
 
 There is of course failheap-challenge, a decent place for fittings an bttrvets.
 
 Eve wiki is pretty self-explanatory
 
 And of course there is THE ISK GUIDE which is just essential reading imho.
 
 While there is no better place to be wealthy than the Gallente Federation, there is no hell worse for the poor either. |

 You should start in an NPC corporation, with its own chat channel. Ask questions there and you'll probably get helpful answers, though there's also a slight risk of being trolled - its Eve Online after all.
 
 There's a new player help channel as well, with lots of volunteers hanging out in it to answer questions. I can't remember the name.
 
 Look up the corp Eve University which exists purely to train new players. If you have a source of in-game income (selling PLEX, for example) and want to dive straight into PvP then join Red Federation or Blue Republic - they are in a perma-war with each other. Its the closest thing to "Ambush" mode in Eve.
