So, I'm not the only one, but I severely screwed up with my skill points. I hadn't expected scouts to be so good! I loved running scout, but they honestly sucked in 1.7.
I really enjoy them now, but I put all my skills into the wrong suits.
I was hoping that there could be a weekend where we did what we had done a while ago, and write 'respec' on a ticket and receive a respec. I feel this also needs to happen not only because of people who screwed up, but because of all the people who now have negative sp because of speccing into amarr scout. And that was NOT their error, so they deserve one. Anyway, thoughts?? |

Yessir, I am. They did it once before, and hopefully, because of the amarr scout issue, they may roll one out :) |

....not to be a debbie downer but why you spec into suits you weren't sure were good or not? Should have picked suits that fit your play-style. I've played Minmatar Assault since beta....got no regrets.
Didn't expect scouts to be good but now you love em? You never scouted before 1.8????

This is entirely your fault. You got the respec you whined for months about, and then you spent your SP unwisely, too frakking bad. Get more SP and be smarter with them next time.

I've never been a FOTM chaser, I've never played dust enough to have the skill points (lol), but nevertheless, I think a respec is needed at least for the amarr scout people. And I did run scout before 1.8. That's how I knew they sucked in 1.7. |

Actually, this is my first time on the forums, so I didn't 'whine' about anything. And I will be smarter with them next time, seeing as I came to the forums. A little sassy aren't we? |

This is exactly what I was thinking. Why should CCP give you a respec? You messed up. You can grind until you can run the suit you want. The plus side of this is that you will be a more able player (as in able to fulfill more roles) because of your accidental skilling into other suits.

Uhhhh... no they didn't.
The respec they gave out after the last respec was for people who skilled into things which literally didn't work as advertised.
There was a vehicle skill which directly stated that it gave a bonus to PG when it gave a reduction in CPU cost on modules to increase PG. There were several other skills which advertised bonuses other than what they gave, or which weren't giving the bonuses specified. First, CCP fixed the errors - which were errors in the DESCRIPTIONS, not how the skills were working, then they refunded SP to the people who trained those skills because of the benefits we were TOLD WE WOULD GET.
There was no misinformation in the respec you got. If you chose to look into things, you could have known how the suits would behave. You're asking for CCP to help you chase the current FOTM. You'll just whine for another respec when they buff other things back into line, or when people start to realise how NOT-OVERPOWERED cloaking really is. |

I think people should be able to buy a respec with AUR. With the amount depending on the section.
