Every time I see this message I run in fear, completely losing all tactics and ruining my complex thought out plan!
I don't know why, but every low slot I waste to protect me from this is useless whenever a guy in a Dropship or scanning vehicle can just zoom by and expose me.
I believe the "You Have been scanned" message should be changed to something less hope crushing like..
"Not sure, but I think you have been scanned", or "Take another path. Someone might scan you" or even "You have been scanned! But let's go out in a blazing glory! "

Get dampening to lvl5, this will get you under militia scans which most uninvested tanks and dropships (the 75%) will use. :)
Or maybe change the scan result to a fun fact of the day!? "Sloths are omnivores"?

Also, I remembered I scanned a prototype Commando on Friday just to kill him with my Tac AR all in 5 seconds lol. Poor guy. Then my team became a group of 4 guys including me ._.
Anyways, you could:
A) Run Scout
B) Use dampners
C) All of the above

Medium suits too if there scanning with a militia active scanner. (gal's not included)

Vehicle scans are all 45 db, no matter militia or proto. Just the active and cooldowns are different.
And I welcome the "you have been scanned" message now a days for the simple fact that for every 5 times you are active scanned in a match, you are getting passive scanned 300 times without knowing it. One of the reasons assault suits are dead, in my opinion, is that they are now pretty much completely blind with nearly everyone getting under medium suit passive scans due to so many running scout suits.
Switzerland is small and neutral. We're more like Germany. Ambitious and misunderstood.

Scouts aren't OP if you focus on dampners and actual scouting. |

LOL I feel you man, though I likely have considerably less. But this is what keeps me playing, chasing after the rabbit like a greyhound.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.
