I've been doing a ton of scouting off and on since closed beta. Naturally, I was very excited for cloaking.
I immediately got a scout ak.0 (looks badass) and every other scout to 3 or 4.
Here's some stuff I noticed:
- Wannabe scouts aren't a big threat. I can clearly see your dumb ass running down the middle of the road despite the cloak, so I can easily follow and kill you.
- At level 1, scout suits need to sacrifice just about everything to fit a cloak
- Precision enhancers are now even more pointless than they previously were
But, here's what I really wanted to point out:
There seems to be a hit detection issue against cloaked scouts. I do NOT use aim assist, yet when I try killing scouts before they uncloak, they barely seem to take damage.
Even at one point while I was cloaked, a practical firing squad of reds (I got scanned) were firing at me, and they had barely broken my 70some shields by the time I uncloaked.

I'm hitting them with a ******* SMG that can mow down mediums in no time, and they're in a cramped hallway.

bot what he's talking about, unless you use an explosive weapon they seem to take just a bit less damage.
@bob, the main problem I see with cloaks as of now is that there's no firing delay, a .5-1.5 second delay depending on the weapon would make the cloak more skillful in my eyes.

I haven't notice the being invulnerable to damage thing so I can't say anything about it, but I do disagree with the precision enhancers I try to run at least one.

How about force the R1 decloaking animation action regardless of what you press to exit cloak?
@Bob, I find 1complex enhancer useful to pick up non-gal scouts waiting for cloaks to recharge. pre 1.8 there weren't enough scouts on the field to warrant spending a slot to detect them. Also; if I see a blip disappear (I.e cloak) I can use the last known direction of blip to await the cloaked scout running by...

Forgot about that. I noticed myself that I could still fire or start charging knives before the cloak even went down.
