Biggest mistake ever made in Dust thus far... spent nearly 2 million SP on Minmatar heavies and commandos. Anyone got a TARDIS I can borrow so I can go back in time an hour or so and kick myself in the nuts for buying a suit purely on aesthetics?
On another note, the fitting abilities of these things suck. My basic scout can fit more than an advanced commando or heavy. 
At least the HMG is okay I suppose... *Sighs and returns to working on the event* Stupid Minmatar heavies and your stupid awesome looks...

CCP really needs to re-examine how all the minmatar suits work.
The thing is, I love the Minmatar scouts and assaults. Even if they're not as good fitting wise as other suits, I've enjoyed both for quite a long time. Had I just gone with the assault, I'd probably be a much happier camper right now. As is, I think I'm gonna go sob in a corner for awhile.

OR maybe JUST maybe the Minmatar suits aren't meant to be built with ZOMGZ I HAVE SO MUCH FLIPPIN HEALTH!!!!aaa!! Just bc you are only worried about Max HPs doesn't make a suit junk. I'm glad Minis are where they are, you actually have to use something different then "brick tanking" which IMO is for noobs.
Okay, three things, seeing as I'm assuming you're assuming that I simply want to brick tank the thing...
1: I don't brick tank, not my thing. I was hoping to fit this thing with shield rechargers/regulators, but the fitting ability on it is crap.
2: I'm starting to realize that two complex kincats on an advanced heavy can work, it's far from ideal though.
3: I'm used to running scouts and assaults, not heavies, thus I'm not adjusted to the lack of speed as of yet.
Perhaps once I actually start using light weapons instead of sidearms again, I might see something that the commandos are good at, but for now, all I'm seeing is a suit that I'm regretting putting SP into, though more than anything, I'm regretting my urge to get something new instead of simply waiting for awhile to buy something that I really liked or need (Like a few more core skills, or a Minmatar assault)
