The low HP is part of the role. The cloak, the extra equip slot, and extra low/high depending on suit as well as increase of the suits capabilities were most needed to operate as a decent eWAR scout in my opinion.
This thread is mainly my satire of the epic Scout QQ going on right now. The two groups are pretty much identical at this point in time from how I see some people treating other Scouts. |

So would you be okay with reducing base HP and removing a low slot to make scouts less tanky. I mean you guys are almost invisible now.
That would be removing a key component of Dust 514's allure. The ability to customize and fit your suit to any role. No need for nerfs. Buff Assaults if that is what you are so upset over. The cloak is fine, the Scout is fine. People are getting WAAAAAAAAY bent out of shape on these forums over the cloak and even the shotgun ffs. The cloak came pre-nerfed so its here to stay. The shotgun lost its RoF bonus which was a huge nerf. I can't imagine how much more people would be crying if it wasn't actually.
In any case Scouts are fine, cloaks are fine. Everything is fairly well balanced with the exception of a few bugs here and there. Buff Assaults if that is what needs to be done, but no need to nerf things. |

If you actually knew what you were talking about, you would know that there was a time when scouts were the go-to suit for combat because of their superior strafing ability. They haven't been treated unfairly at all. In fact, the only suit that probably has been is the assault class of suits. Hell, the gallente scout was fine in 1.7, and I know people who could make the min scout work wonders last build too. So what your saying is completely biased and baseless.
Back in BETA yeah Scouts were better than they are now. It got nerfed to all hell in uprising 1.0 and only is just now reclaiming some of its former glory. I'm sorry, but they were not "fine" after that. They may have been somewhat functional but they were not where they needed to be to be competative with other suits. |
