a horrible idea and a cheap work around?
Now it will be a race to call in vehicles and as soon as the enemy team has two blasters and your blues have 2 lavs the only excuse for AV has been totally blocked.
They should just make it zero like plenty of people wanted and let us kill each other on foot. |

Just cause AV gets points for hitting them does not make it useful even if that means 2 more blueberries decide to get out AV. If it was useful they would not have felt the need to limit vehicles in ambush.
If you do not believe its a race spawn in and start calling a vehicle.

What 2 tanks do is rediculous. 4 tanks on a team is not fun. Vehicles ruin games. Why cant you so called "pilots" See 1 tank againt a team with no av and open map is win button?
I want less not more. I am just pointing out that the limit only gives blasters the advantage because now no rail can be called in.
EDIT:
A blaster will be able to sit unchecked on uplinks that no one can get away from. No supply depot = call a rail tank for AV.
Spawn with AV? Too bad there is a blaster no one can do anything about spawn killing you. |

You used the keyword. It is a WORKAROUND. When is the last time we saw an actual fix in this game?
The two vehicle limit is a lazy workaround that allows one side to get the obvious advantage if they play it right. |

While you are totally correct, I would also like to add to my point that anyone with half a brain can go auto win mode and that is what I am not happy with.

Would you prefer they remove the hot fix since it doesn't quite meet your perfect standard and go back to how it was before?
Honestly I would rather go back to the old limit than the 2 vehicle limit, I have seen plenty of ambushes cleared out by a guy that called in a nice rail and got rid of the blasters camping the spawn that smart deploy continually puts you on.
The 2 vehicle limit gives tankers an even more unfair advantage than before.
Its very possible I am just ****ing to ***** but you will see it when this is used against you and if you do remember this thread you will get it, otherwise you will just be crying about the blaster camping your spawn.

Yes, you can do that easily with the additional help or maybe on your own with the hardener reduction (not my area I can not effectively say) the problem is now blasters can, if done right unchecked camp every clone on the other side. Maybe that comes back more to the problems with smart deploy. |

I am not upset at no tank spam, I am very happy with that. The problem is it is a lazy workaround that can be easily manipulated especially when you factor in the less than great function that is smart deploy.
The other team gets an obvious advantage if they are able to get 2 blaster tanks in specially in the still common case they are camping the only uplink instead of popping it. In 12 ambushes today 4 times I saw us being able to do nothing about him camping it.
With no supply depot no one can switch to AV and with the link being camped you can not get in alive with it. Now with the 2 vehicle limit it will be very common that no rail tank can be called either allowing the easy win. It is a mechanic that can very easily be manipulated.
