Agree or disagree?
I had hopes the commandos would be good viable suits without being OP, but I am not noticing my 2% per level damage bonus and I generally feel like I have to "work harder" for kills and to survive than I do in either my assault suits and definitely my scout suit.
I'm not a very good player so maybe it is just me, but like so many other new thing this build I wonder what the pulse of the community on this is.
Oh and by the way you all are welcome for my scrub self using cal commando almost exclusively the little I've played during this event. You all should split your ISK profits from killing me with me

I'm definitely not giving up and its not like I am doing terrible either, I'm going positive with my adv. cal commandos, just not doing as well as in my other suits (gal logi excluded because I haven't used it since Tuesday).
You are probably right I gotta adjust my playstyle with that suit. They are definitely squishy though. Assault health, logi speed, with sentinel profile and hit box.

You are most likely right. I fit my comando with RR and ARR and all too often I am going in there with my ARR like I would with an assault but without the speed to get in gank a clone or 2 and grab some cover. And my commando has about the same exact EHP as my Amarr assaults

I did start putting SP in sniper rifles to go with my commando. I figure if I can't get the hang of using my dual rail combo I'll have a back up use for a suit I put a lot of SP into

I personally feel that the damage bonus isn't noticble enough. It should be more lik 15-25% at level 5, not 10%.
I'm waiting for more hofixes before making a judgement on that. For all we know its not applying the 10% bonus, just like the game is not properly applying the amarr assault bonus or the minmatar assault bonus

Love the phrase calamando, but I think I'm going to change it to Calmmando! I finally had a decent game with my Calmmando 8/0 with like 20 assists. I had teamed up with a friend who runs Gal sentinel

We might be getting 1% instead of 2% as far as I am concerned....there is probably no bonus just placebo
I'm looking forward to seeing how the suit plays after more hotfixes for sure.
