Ok so the aim of a scout in Dust 514 is supposed to hack points, to infiltrate and give informartion to its team, and he can protect himself with a shotgun or a nova knife BUT he will always be disadvantaged against an assault player.

Can anyone please explain me how this could only exist? 531 armor after I shot him and shut down its shield when he suddently popped from nowhere with its cloak. Are the devs only playing the game?
And this is not the worst I've seen. With a proto basic amarr scout you can go up to 1020 EHP (270 shield, 750 armor) ! This is litteraly a heavy with a super fast speed, an OP cloak and a proto weapon! Don't tell me that this is normal. What's the point of playing assault if a scout does the job better?
Nerf the pg/cpu of those stuffs and oblige scouts to wear shotguns or sidearms or find a way to make them scout and not assault slayer.

There should be a new class of weapon (medium weapon for exemple) with all the actual light weapon except the shotgun (which would be light). And a medium slot could only be fitted with a medium weapon, same for heavy and scout. |

It's normal that you die easily as long as you're playing a scout. And you mustn't play with 800-1000HP in this case. But I think you also noticed that even with an assault suit you get kill really fast so it makes the assault class even more useless if a scout do the same job. Also, I have all skill lvl 5 in PG/CPU stuffs, in sidearms and light weapons etc.. and I'd like to know wich assault class you're playing because it's absolutely impossible to fit 2 proto weapons and only proto modules.

Anyways, i agree a nerf to 500 armored tanked scouts is needed.
So everybody who wants the game balanced is QQing ? And everybody who gives example of what happened in their game are QQing? that's none sens and absolutely stupid.

What's the point of this debate? Yes I'm complaining because something's wrong in the game and changes need to be make. If for you complaining and crying are the same thing open a dictionnary or remain as useless as you already are by sending such useless messages. |

Funny how every scout who play as a assault is telling that he knows the scout job. Nop nop nop, light suit isn't called light for fun, it's called light because it's supposed to be light, not medium or heavy ^^ There are few scouts still playing as real scouts and who use the cloak in the way it was meant for. And I respect them. But 90% of the scouts are playing assault just as the old logis. And people like tander09 telling **** like that are just pussies afraid to have their super assault rebalanced. |

I never said that scout players weren't good players! Not at all! It used to be the hardest role in the game IMO. The only thing is that before 1.8, scout with 1000 EHP didnt exist, now they do, and they are invisible. They shouldn't have as much life as an assault. Maybe gallente could do it before, but I never saw one because it wasn't efficient at all, and because the few players who skilled into it were true scout with the aim of playing a scout (not an assault). Now most scouts play as assault so their life must be decrease, the cloak should decloak when shot and the time to put it back should be at maxin this case. If they decloak on their own, the time to reactivate the cloak would be depending on the cloaking time. But if they got shot, fluxed, or if they shot while cloaking (like in Crysis for example) they should lose it and wait the maximum time. |
