I'm a pretty big fan on 1.8, once the bugs gets fixed, and the cloak gets a little more balanced, i'm happy as i can be.
If you run cloak and shotgun, you're a scrub

Agreed. The only thing about it that seems to suck is how the people who specced into Medium suits don't really have anything special about them now.

Yeah I like it a lot too.
The new suits are great - not perfect (yet) but I love the new dynamics, tweaking and balancing is really tough though guys, I think people tend to forget that changing things, even with tiny percentages does have a major change on gameplay.
They'll get there, and even if they don't we'll still all be playing.
I can haz all your Officer Heavy weapons?

Doesn't using a sidearm on a suit that's only real benefit is allowing you to use 2 light weapons defeat the purpose of using said suit? |

TTK still isn't a 1/3 of what it was in Chromosome..
De-Cloak Animation needs to be fixed..
Needs More shimmer when sprinting... Less shimmer when walking... And stand still shimmer when Crouch walking. Currently it's moving and full shimmer or standing still and nothing.
It needs to scale around sneaky actions... Not sprinting back and fourth in someone face cloaked before pulling out the shotgun and getting a shot of cloaked(I am a scout.. As much as it is fun as hell... It shouldn't be like it is)
The Hit detection Is FREAKING GOD AWFUL....
Unless your reticule is ful red... Even if your aim is dead on you will still blue shield half your clip...
So it's not aiming at someone and just firing... It's aim at someone... Wait for crosshair's to red... Then the game is like "Ok you have aimed in the right area you may now fire)
It's mind boggling..... If they are basing the hit detection on that.... No wonder its so broken and lagged out. |

The bugs are frustrating, but overall I'm a big fan of most of the changes. It's hard to evaluate with all of the bugs though, so I'm reserving final judgment until we're done with the hotfixes.
Best PvE idea ever!

True, but what event is occurring right now? Soften up the enemy with a mass driver round or two, switch to SMG to finish them, get a side arm kill in a commando suit.
Later when i truly spec into my secondary weapon, I'll use the combat rifle. For now, i have a little bit of sp spent on the SMG as my sidearm of choice, why not use it? |
