the risk, power, strength, ISK ratio for tanks is causing the tank spam.
one solution that will only benefit the game and will have no repercussions, increase tank isk cost.
Tank (Frames) MLT tanks - 650k each. Madrugar / Gunnlogi - 3M ISK (if not more)
This should cut down abuse, as people will see tanks as too expensive to role around freely on the field. Players will also start to care about their tanks survival again, and wont be so aggressive which will improve gameplay experience "For All".
CCP is handling balance like a deaf man trying to interpret what a blind man is saying he has seen

Another fix for vehicle abuse, is to simply create a 50 man ambush game mode, with "0" vehicle team quota slots available. No vehicles can be called into the field. at all. ever. The maps will have to be very small, such as the bridge map, or that map where A is inside a massive cylindrical structure connected to underground tunnels and whatever :P they dont have names ... what can i say.
Personally, i feel that 50 clone ambush cannot afford to have vehicles and should not have vehicles, as there are no large installations to counter them, the game mode ends far too fast, and vehicles are being abused.
If you agree, just like the post and "+1" in the comments. if not, then just "-1" in the comments. Ok im going to disagree yes tanks should cost a bit more but have you seen how any tanks get blown up if they are going to cost i want CCP to give speced tanked a bonus of those MLT rails with damage mod, WAIT NERF DAMAGE MOD, and in prove the hardener, or both armour on shield and armour while there at it increase the HP, IM NOT GOING TO PAY 3+ MIL FOR A TANK THAT GETS POPPED IN 2 SECONDS, i think most tanker will agree with me. Also have you tried to combat tanks if not dont argue and dont even think you know what your talking about -1
okay firstly i would like to direct you to the very first line of the thread...
secondly, tanks realistically should cost this much isk. Its the fact they are so unbelievably easy to deploy that makes them so badly abused ... And have you tried to kill a fully specced madrugar or gunnlogi yourself? the only thing that can take them out happens to be another tank. who knew!

Ok i can use AV and have have taken out many tanks with it and if you want to be realistic 1 shot from a blaster would kill any infantry, how would you like it if i shot 1 shot a killed you
i get 1 shot killed regularly ... by rail guns, shotguns, REs, grenades, forge guns, and more. the only exception, is the railgun 1 shots me in a 500k dropship, and that railtank costs them 80k, and no risk while they cower in the red line.

If you agree, just like the post and "+1" in the comments. if not, then just "-1" in the comments. Make a forge gun cost 2 million ISK and swarms cost 1 million ISK, and we have a deal. These prices are ridiculous. High end tank prices are fine. What we need to do is raise militia tank prices to be in line with this. perhaps set them at 200k each.
do you use MLT tanks? because 200k is still very abusable. profitable even.
I have a strong belief that no MLT vehicle should turn profit. not sure if you agree.

my average battle in general i make around 200k isk. next to no profit in it currently even whilst running std-adv gear.
u have your pc paychecks to endlessly spam proto in pubs on a daily basis. and the new guys have to scrape buy with pub matches.
besides.... tanks rnt really being spammed out at all. there might be a few at the very beginning but the minute those tanks are destroyed u wont really see many more after that. and more than likely if they have lost more than 2 tanks and are still calling them out. it is clear evidence that they dont give a crap about the isk they lose at that point in game.
many have i seen a tank fitted with a proto rail gun in the redline. rarely have i ever seen a mlt rail tank inside the redline.

however, MLT tanks in comparison to power and ability, should cost more ... costing less than a suit, doesn't make sense. Don't you agree?

This can indeed be justified. But only, if we assume that the first is a high end unique, personalized and hand crafted by masters of their art "prototype", and the other is a standardized in massive amounts produced (by automated factories or slaves) throwaway gadget (eventually subsidized by a big economic player). So imagine there are 100 factories all around new eden fabricating tons of spaceships (fighting over just a handful of customers), but only 3 dropsuit manufacturers (with tons of people wanting them), the price of the latter could seem crazily high in relation. Thats until the big players get into the dropsuit mass producing game too and the prices align. So its a supply and demand question in the end. But I agree, even with this assumptions, it is quite a stretch.
no ... the specialized "hand crafted" versions of equipment is the officer tier gear. Prototype gear is just high end standard variants of currently produced equipment. there really isnt anything "prototype" about them, as all prototypes have serious bugs / flaws in them. and cost cannot be the only flaw :P
