this. Top part. "Vehicle hardeners have been reduced in effectiveness (Armour 40% -> 25%, Shield 60% -> 40%)".
Now, I'm not sure about the shield hardeners (they'll probably be fine), but for armor hardeners, this is a kick in the teeth. Now, I'm sure most of you are confused with my statements here. I'll explain.
See, with armor hardeners going to 25%, they'll be reverting back to its old stat count. HOWEVER:
1: They were far easier to fit for
2: They could have other tanks to use such as rep or buffer since there was more slots
Those two things means that Gallente HAV's are getting a eHP nerf that is lower than 1.7 (yes, Gallente HAV's got a eHP nerf going from 1.6 to 1.7, and now it's getting another one, although this one is far larger). So really, we'll be going back to 1.6 for Gallente HAV's (again, I think Caldari HAV's will be somewhat fine; they'll be able to take hits, although less than the ridiculous amount from before).
Some of you think that's great, since you can go back to infantry 514 and not have to see vehicles every game. Well, I say **** that ****. This is needed.

I rather see the complaint now shift to vehicle source damage instead as that seems to be the new problem in the table.

I believe CCP themselves are still always a little shocked at their ineptitude I think they drank a bit much of their own kool aid when they decided to create Dust

armor is no friend to the noob
as for CCP who tooled you that armor was OP was talking out of there back bumper
you want to fix tank nerf shields hardeners down to 50 % and armor only needed to be at 30%
armor tanks get 2 - 3 hit but shields just tank it all the way to 5 or 6 hits
...CCP come on !
at lest make penalty to any one mixing armor and shield hardeners ! like if its a shield tank - 10% to armor mods if armor - 10 % to shield mods !

I would like to confirm that hardeners are infact a global module and not just for tanks ... basically i would like to confirm that us shield "DROPSHIP" users, will not be fine.

I care...
It makes me very glad to hear it. The only think I hate seeing on the battlefield more than a blaster tank is a missle ADS. So anything that hurts them both at once makes me happy.

i want to see a new CPM the ones we have dont seem to know how to fix tanks at all.
like how hard is it to tell whats more OP at killing AV a shield tank with 3 60,s and a pro blaster or a 1 self rep 2 armor hardeners with a blaster!

in tank vs tank ya the armor tank can win but not for killing drop suits.
i sit in a shield tank if i feel like boosting my KDR or just getting a ambush over with that's dragging on and on just becus i know time and time agen i test it shield with 3 60,s will live !
or maybe its the games i get into i most vs only the smart AV teams and the other tanks are vsing noobs who shoot them selfs in the foot trying to hit a tank at point blank !

Yo, suggestion time. Put resists back to old value, force all hardeners to activate when you activate one, in an attempt to get rid of the whole near indefinite hardening that goes on. Thoughts Godin?
