I must admit it, I can't remember having this much fun in Dust, well since Skirmish 1.0 that is.
Yes its always cool to play With the hot New shinys, but its more than just that. The entire flow of Battle has changed and I'm having a really good time. Lets hope the fast paced gameplay continues, at least for awhile before its back to the customary roof- and redlinecamping.
FU and FU Dust community, you're mostly a bunch of moronic carebear crybabies. Get good.

I agree.
Cloaking has made people cautious and forced some pre-planning into things like capping objectives. I'm not even a scout and I think it's great. My rail rifle no longer melts people, which is good because balance is good for everyone. HAV's have a nerf inbound glory glory hallelujah. I like seeing a large variety of heavies being fielded.
... then there's the CR... we don't like to talk about the CR.

I agree. It seems like there is a more coherent flow to battles with better squad involvement. Rather than a disparate set of rapid 1v1's, battle lines develop and running fire fights occur. Position, cover and flanking seem to matter more and everyone has a little more surviveability. Cloaks are fun and useful, but are not a get out of jail free card. If you can get to some cover, you have a decent chance of escaping, but activating in the middle of a fire fight isn't very viable. After the bug fixes are done, I think this patch will be viewed as a positive development for the game.

All the new racial suits means that there's more than just Amarr heavies running around with Rail Rifles. The TTK changes are awesome (although, I'll admit that I haven't played my medium suits much yet), but if the changes to Scout and Heavy survivability are any indication, CCP is doing their job here.
Now, get some fixes to AV, let us finally see Minmatar and Amarr installations and vehciles, flesh out a few more weapons, and I'd say we have ourselves a real piece of New Eden here, boys!

Speaking of variety in heavies, I got shot by a Minmatar Heavy with a RR a couple days ago. o-o I feel like he wasted his time with that gun, lol.
