Since my attitude about the implementation of this project is pretty negative right now I'm afraid my predictions will be the same:
- We'll see more defined concept art for the remaining racial vehicles. Implementation will be late, have the wrong stats and look like bloated whales.
- We'll see more rough slides talking about PVE and it'll be tagged SoonGäó. It won't be released until Fanfest 2015.
- The Caldari Production Outpost, Minmatar Cargo Hub Outpost and their accompanying socket sets will be strangely absent. During a round table discussion a dev will only answer if pressed with "held for optimization and performance reasons." If anybody asks about Amarr designs the devs will just look away and change the subject.
- With Valkyrie the new golden child we'll only see old, regurgitated DUST clips in the new EVE vision video.
I need a morale boost. Providing constructive criticism and defending normal development processes has drained me dry. Bitter Vet status achieved. The day CCP Guard dons a dropsuit and films an overly dramatic dramatization for EVE: DUST 514 is the day I'll believe the CCP is confident about their own game.

So they will say. I can't speak to previous Fanfests (as I wasn't with CCP), but I can assure you that we have plans in place to deliver on the things presented this year.
Instilling confidence needs to be a major component of the presentation.

Adding new equipment is thinking too small.
What CCP needs to be planning is moving us from our lobby shooter test bed into the bigger world of New Eden. Null Sec alliances should be sieging planets around the clock. Warbarges should be dropping MCCs loaded with vehicles and installations to massive battlefields. Logistics should mean planning, building and moving stuff between systems and districts. Infantry should be storming stations and starbases.
PVE should mean a squad contracting an NPC Warbarge to jump their MCC to a planet and dropping it to the surface. You only get what you bring along meaning you better plan ahead. Use a Dropship or other vehicle to move around the 5km map to hunt down Rogue Drones or one of the outlaw factions and liberate friendly outposts.
These aren't predictions but showing us one small part of moving towards this would make this merc do the happy dance and spend money.
