Okay, so...you know how when you open your weapon wheel you have three slots for weapons? One for Heavy Weapons, one for Light Weapons, and one for Sidearms. Considering the Commando can have two slots, this means those three slots are subject to change upon your choice in role, so that means they can be subject to change upon your role. This might happen far, far in the future, I know. But this is just an amazing idea(at least, I think so) that I had just dreamed up.
Role Slots, the third slot of your weapons. Like Call of Duty, they have perks you can stick on your character. But these are different, they are earned through your capability on the battlefeild, or through other means. This part is up for debate, as in my dream, they were earned through your rank on the leaderboards. Of course, I don't think that is a very plausible way, as some people never GET on the leaderboards.
But, here is how it works: 1. The third slot takes up no PG or CPU. 2. They are diffferent upon the suit you use. 3. They activate through certain requirements on the battlefeild.
Here are a few examples: Scout - Shadows Upon death, the next time you spawn and activate your cloak, you may fire a single shot while cloaked.
Scout - Juke and Dive When entering the enemies homepoint, you get a 10% bonus to running speed, and walking speed.
Commando - Jack the Ripper After three kills without dying, you receive a 5%(or 10%) bonus to damage on all methods of attack.
Commando - Brawler After performing melee one time, your consecutive melee strikes will build up by a 3% bonus to damage each time.
Heavy - Piledriver For defending an objective for more than 45 seconds, your sheild and armor increase by 20%. This deactivates after you move 30 meters from any objective.
Heavy - Locomotion The instant you spawn, you get a 20% increase to movement speed for 10 seconds.
Logistics - Wash, Rinse, and Repeat After Scanning more than five targets of the enemy in one scan, your entire team may see the scan instead of your squad.
Logistics - Waxing Reviving a downed teammate will put an electric charge into your injector to restore 70% of that persons sheilds.
Logistics - Waning Meleeing with a nanite injector will overheat the injector to not only flux the targets sheilds, but deal all melee damage dealt directly to their armor.
Assault - He's a Runner, Alright... When your EHP drops below 20%, your running, and walking speed are increased by 15%. And your weapon damage is increased by 10%.
Assault - Killer of 1000 Men Performing five kills in a row without dying gives you a 10%(or 20%) damage bonus to heavies.
As you can see, these are largely up for debate in my mind. I'm not sure how it will look to everyone else, but feedback is greatly appreciated. :D
Your face is something to shoot, so I will shoot. Don't be offended, I do it to everyone.
