Just a bit of background. Coming from MAG where the community of the clan(in DUST 514 the corp) was amazing. 10-30 guys in one room talking and yelling most of the time LOL, planning strategy and just all round having a good time. When in battle we were broken up into two squads or four squad of eight players. My first point. TEAM DEPLOY. CCP if you would just do something so simple as put at least 16 guys into one battle and have a game mode for them, this game would take off like you wouldnt beleive. No matter what guns or equipment you make the game is still a game and people get bored of it very quickly when they have done everything. Its the guys you play with on a day to day basis that makes the game fun. The more fun you have with the game the more you want to play it. The more you want to play it the more potential income there is. The game of MAG wasnt the greatest, but it was alot of fun cause you could play strategically and train like a team. In this game the corporation is divided incredibly and it is not a community based game like you think it is. While playing I noticed something. When I shoot at things close to walls I dont hit other DUST players. Why is this. And finally I figured it out. The shaping of the walls and buildings and terrain in general is bigger then it looks. WHATS UP WITH THIS guys. In the quarters I checked this out. I went to the couch in my lavish caldari quarters and checked. I went up to the couch and tried to go near the arm. I could not get around until I went an inch over to the left side. Texture mapping or whatever you call it are basics of every game. If the fundamentals are not met it becomes a very frustrating and MAKE YOU WANNA "rage" game. Crisp detail and acurate terrrain is a fundamental part of the gaming world. If you are not up to speed you get left behind. I really dont want that for DUST 514 cause it could be an awesome FPS if the right things are in place. I have been here since the beta and yes DUST has come a long way. Not that far though. The game speed has increased and yes more weapons and equipment has been added but the same old tired crap that most games have is still there. LAG, freezing, constant mistakes with updates, mic glitchs, hit detection, and many many more. Those are just a few of the things that I have experienced with this game. The overall rating I would give for this game is a 4. CCP from a gamer perpective it doesnt even seem like you guys play this game. This game would be a fantastic game if certain things were incorporated and alot more people would be attracted to it if you would give gamers what they really want. A solid game with a purpose. Just my opinion about what I have seen so far. CCP I have supported you guys this far, I really hope you guys make some big changes soon cause you guys are running out of time. |

its a great thing and thats why we should bring the corps closer together by having team deploy brother in pub matchs.

Nah that is not what i meant to convey. What I was saying is having a team deploy against other team deploys would give us practice for PC and also bring the corp community closer together. |
