I almost expected to see this initially, but was completely shocked when it didn't work. Cloak Fields I can safely assume is an active equipment used in battle. As the scanners can be negated by dampener modules, I feel that a flux grenade should:
FLUX THE CLOAK FIELD (it does not deplete the cloak to cooldown phase, but rather requires the cloak user to activate it again)
This does not apply to locus grenades because it is an impact blast, not emp.
Please like and bump this post if you would like to see this implemented in 1.8!!

yup, one of the first things that pissed me off about this build - my flux grenades don't work against the new "equipment".

Honestly the cloak is already close to useless, because we are shimmering like blue blue Christmas tree when moving. I have killed several scouts that were cloak and have been killed quite a lot while cloaked.
If you have problems with cloaks maybe you alter your play style a bit...
BTW why in hell should a flux do anything to a handheld equipment?? Does a flux disturbs the active scanner? No. Does it disturb the Reptool? NO. So why should the flux disturb the cloak??

Shouldn't be just flux......decloaking should happen if you tske damage period. Flux grenades should be a given...yet guys are still pushing for it to not decloak from a flux grenade or emp strike.
At the very least....once you take damage, you should be at max shimmer and once you've passed a damage threshold, you should fully decloak.

I don't think it should decloak from damage, but it should definitely shimmer when taking damage and should definitely shutdown to full-cooldown when hit with any EMP type attack. |

I would like to see this as well. Fluxes are utility grenades that bring down defensive measures like shields, clear drop uplinks, etc. It seems natural for them to disrupt cloaking devices as well.
I'd like to be your CPM1 candidate
