Its an awesome leaping machine. And that shield regen is no joke! I love the freedom and speed.
The scans are perfect too! Its completely replaced the scan tool.
The most OP weapon on the Dust Battle Field:
One good logi, one rep tool, and a heavy.

I've yet to actually play, but from what I hear and have messed with on fitting tools, it seems pretty good.
I want to use it as a scout. That is, at least three scanning related mods at any time. My current fit ideas for a regular pubs C-1 is
- -: Cplx Precision, 2x Cplx shield ex (or maybe 1x and 1x basic, I forgot what fits)
-: Cplx Damp and Range (or another damp if scan/scouts are out and about)
W: CR/ Shotty
S: SMG/ MSMG (haven't tried it yet)
G: Flux
E: RE, Cloak/Nanohive (haven't tried the cloak yet)
My only problem with my theory crafting is dampening. Since I play like a scout, it's important that I'm sufficiently dampened to allow sneaking and flanking. I'm just not sure how well the Cal Scout can handle against other Cal scouts or Gal logies.
I was considering the Gal scout because of this, but it's scanning precision isn't nearly as good, and that's important with the influx of scouts now.

Yep made 39 kills on first try with cal scout. That suit is op to me

It's OK, but I still think the Amarr Scout is best for solo play and direct conflict.

I find that my laser likes to melt their shields away... Personally I'm finding all the scout and heavy suits to be very balanced I don't understand what everybody is complaining about or why CCP would nerf the heavies. Oh well at least my laser buff worked perfectly muahaha!!!
